The Fourth Annual Portland Indie Wine Festival

Small, independent producers are the heart and soul of Oregon’s world-class wine industry. The Portland Indie Wine Festival is your opportunity to meet the next generation of winemakers emerging from cellars all across the state. This relatively unknown brigade of craft wineries (those who produce less than 2,000 cases each year) represents a diversity of styles and a bent toward sustainable agriculture and production.

All wines for PIWF are selected by a panel of judges in a blind tasting competition held March 10. The top scorings wines determine the 40 wine producers and the wines to be poured at the festival. 20 different producers will be featured each day to ensure best possible experience for wine lovers.

Like many of Portland’s most popular cultural events, the Portland Indie Wine Festival is a fun, lively community experience. You can meet the winemakers and hear their stories first hand, sample great food from top Oregon chefs, and buy wines on site to take home and enjoy with friends.
